CODE OF CONDUCT
Students are expected to behave in an appropriate manner at all times inside and outside Rock Academy.
Fighting, stealing, vandalism, the commission of any crime, and drug and alcohol abuse or possession are offenses that may result in expulsion, suspension and/or notification of parents and/or local law enforcement on the sole discretion of Rock Academy. Any expulsion or suspension shall be without refund or return of any money, deposit or fees paid by the student or their families.
EARPLUG POLICY:
Participation in The Rock Academy involves playing and hearing loud music. Loud music can cause hearing damage and/or loss of hearing and may entail known and unknown risks of injury to hearing and health. It is the recommendation of The Rock Academy that when participating in The Rock Academy programs, all students and other participants should wear protective hearing devices, such as ear plugs.
EARPLUG POLICY WAIVER AND RELEASE:
The undersigned, for myself or for any minors for whom I am parent or legal guardian, do on behalf of myself and/or for such minors and on behalf of my and/or their heirs, personal representative and /or assigns, do hereby release and hold harmless The Rock Academy, its members, principles, officers, agents and employees from any and all liability for hearing damage or loss of hearing, damage to my hearing, and I hereby waive any lawsuit, claim or cause of action against the foregoing parties arising from injury and/or damage to hearing and/or loss of hearing, as well as from any other personal injury, resulting from participation in The Rock Academy programs. This release and waiver shall apply regardless of whether I or my child(ren) choose to wear or choose not to wear earplugs or other protective hearing devices.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG POLICY:
The Rock Academy maintains a policy against the illegal use of alcohol and drugs. Thus, the illegal use of alcohol or drugs by the students in prohibited, whether on or off the premises or facilities of the Rock Academy. Failure to abide by this policy can result in the expulsion or suspension of the student, and/or the notification of parents and/or local police authorities. If a student is expelled or suspended as a result of violating this policy, there will be no refunds or returns of any deposit, tuition or fees.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG POLICY: WAIVER AND RELEASE:
The undersigned, for myself or for any minors for whom I am parent or legal guardian, do on behalf of myself and/or for such minors and on behalf of my and/or their heirs, personal representative and /or assigns, hereby agrees to release and hold harmless the Rock Academy, its members, principles, officers, agents and employees its susudaries, affiliates, franchisees, officers, directors, agents, employees and members from any and all damages or liabilities whatsoever arising out of or in connection with a student’s violation of the school’s policy on illegal alcohol and drug use, and further agrees to waive any lawsuit, claim or cause of action against the foregoing parties
related to damages and liabilities occasioned by a student’s violation of the policy.
